ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES


Limebright are currently in the process of obtaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 to improve our quality and environmental issues and to obtain the Warrington Certifire scheme which will enable us to provide certified doors in the near future.

We have appointed Warrington Certificate Ltd to carry out the 9001 assessment and we are in discussions with them with regards to the 14001, they will hopefully confirm shortly that they are in a position to carry out this assessment. The ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 will be carried out in July 2011.

With the help of Penarth Management we have now made alterations to our site installation plans, we now complete a full site survey before manufacture so we can construct a product that is site specific with no waste produced. We have also purchased a NEW BIOMASS BURNER which we will use to produce heat from our wood waste which we produce at our workshop. Recycling our wood waste as fuel for the Biomass Burner will reduce our landfill and also reduce our need to purchase LP gas, we have funded the purchase with a grant from the Forestry Commission and an interest free loan from the Carbon Trust.
